The Rover Group, Inc. 24 month/ 24,000 Mile Limited Warranty
The Rover Group, Inc. warrants that the above repairs and services performed at their location will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months or 24,000 miles of use, whichever comes first, measured from the date of the first repair and the odometer reading shown on the original repair invoice. This warranty is conditioned on the vehicle being subjected only to normal, non-commercial use, and receiving reasonable and necessary maintenance during the warranty period. Warranty repair costs shall in no case exceed the cost of the original repair or service. If there is a defect in either materials or workmanship within the warranty period, The Rover Group, Inc. has the option to perform remedial service work at no charge to you, replace the defective warranted parts without charge to you, or refund the entire charge for the warranted repairs, minus any previous refunds. This warranty is transferable upon transfer of ownership of said vehicle, but is valid only at The Rover Group and does NOT apply to any other repair facility, including but not limited to a factory authorized service center. No work warranted by The Rover Group may be performed at another facility.
What You Must Do to Obtain Warranty Service
You must keep a copy of the original repair invoice and present it when seeking service under this warranty. If warranty work is performed, you must temporarily surrender possession of the original repair invoice, or legible copy of the same. All warranty work must be performed at The Rover Group, Inc.
What Is Covered by This Warranty
Any parts that are warranted by the factory manufacturer are covered by this warranty, as well as defects in materials or workmanship. All subcontract labor is covered by this warranty, although warranty work performed on subcontract labor may need to be performed at the location of the subcontractor, subject to the discretion of The Rover Group.
What is NOT Covered by This Warranty
- Commercial Vehicles
- Tires
- Brake Pads and Rotors due to normal wear and tear. Brake pads and rotors are covered only for defects in materials/workmanship.
- Oil change services.
- Used parts and associated labor.
- Auto Body, paint and molding repair not covered by factory warranty.
- Custom, aftermarket accessories, including but not limited to off road suspensions, bumpers, roof racks, ladders, winches, etc. are excluded from this warranty. Factory warranties will be honored where applicable, but labor to remove and replace subject parts/accessories is not covered. Customers must pay for Removal & Replacement labor on said warranty work.
- Labor on Sunroof repairs.
- Repair of work performed by other facilities.
- Excessive off road damage or unreasonable wear and tear on subject work.
- Car rental or compensation as such for period that vehicle is being repaired at The Rover Group.
- Incidental or consequential damages (additional expenses which may be incurred as the result of faulty repair or service).
- Customer supplied parts, regardless of factory warranty and associated labor.
- Any work/repairs that are unpaid.
